Program Description

Today, disruption is the norm and ‘innovation’ has gone beyond buzzword status to be a key strategic imperative for any organization looking for continued growth amidst a complex operating environment. Leaders are looking to embed a culture of innovation and creativity to help the organization stay agile and adaptable to tackle these complexities and stay relevant.


Design Thinking draws upon logic, imagination, intuition, and systemic reasoning, to explore possibilities of what could be, and to create desired outcomes that benefit the end user (the customer). A design mindset is not problem-focused, it’s solution focused, and action oriented. It involves both analysis and imagination.

After 16 years of working in the corporate world, he is now doing what he loves. Focusing on his own startup business, D. NEW AGENCY, a Design Thinking and Design Sprint Agency, helping organizations and companies solve their complex problem in just 4 days.  He’s experienced in Design Thinking which helped him to build the structure for the Creative Team of the biggest retail company in the Philippines, The SM Retail. His works include strategic design, driving organizational transformation and human-centered visual communication. Serving 32 departments and 63 branches nationwide, he managed to deliver marketing services from his in-house creative team in just a year. He’s conducting Design Thinking workshops for startups and SMEs, Product Innovation, Customer Experience, Employee Experience, and Social Innovation, etc.

Completed his units in Mechanical Engineering but found his calling in Advertising and PR, and earned degree for the said course at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He took up Design Thinking at National University of Singapore. Took up his Design Sprint 2.0 Masterclass at AJ+Smart, the only authorized agency by Jake Knapp of Google Ventures.


Rock Cleo worked at SM Retail as Creative Head, Senior Art Director in Summit Media, Art Director at Avon Phils, Art Director in Hinge-Inquirer, and Graphic Artists at One Mega Magazine. 


He’s part of the strategic team that ideated and implemented program that won back-to-back Anvil Awards, 2018 and 2019.
