years…if they don’t figure out how to change their entire company to accommodate new technologies.”
With the rapid emergence and popularity of the startup companies, the life expectancy of large
organizations has been declining especially during these uncertain times – the ‘new normal’ as they call it. Embracing the organizational changes in the ‘new normal’ requires leaders and employees who view the organization from a holistic perspective and learn from other companies that have been tremendously and massively gaining the benefits on their continuous efforts on digital transformation efforts. It is an imperative for companies nowadays to establish their transformation roadmaps, innovate in an agile fashion, unlock new levels of revenue growth, reduce costs across the organization and increase workforce productivity. DR. REY FREMISTA
​
A recipient of an international award from an International Quality Organization in 2017 and of the
prestigious National Quality award in 2015, Dr. Rey B. Fremista led the Process Excellence and
Transformation space of international companies, overseeing global teams such as Data Science and
Analytics, Process Technology and Innovation, Global Reporting, Organizational Excellence or Process
Excellence, and ID Management – receiving various company’s global awards like Spirit Award, Titan
Excellence Award, Top Continuous Improvement Champion Awards, to name a few, for leading and
implementing multiple innovative improvement programs and projects that delivered significant value to
the organization.
Dr. Rey is currently the President of the Philippine Society for Quality, Inc. (PSQ) and an Advisory Board
Member of a growing content creators’ community called the Vloggers Academy. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a Certified Learning and Development Professional, and Certified in Breakthrough Learning and Strategies for Training. He is also Certified in Design Sprint: Design Thinking 2.0 and in UiPath’s Robotic Process Automation Citizen Developer Foundation. He is also a Global Advisor at the World Change Summit. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution Singapore in Business Administration and in Research and an Honorary Core Member of the Professional Certification of Quality Council for Operations Management of the Singapore Institute of Multidisciplinary Professions (SIMP).
He was one of the Top 70 Rising Professionals in LinkedIn Philippines 2020 as cited by the Marketing in
Asia. He was a Part-time Faculty member of the National University (of the Philippines), taught Total Quality Management, Business Statistics, and Strategic Management, where he conceptualized and launched an annual event called Kaizen Festival. He was an Assessor of the Global Performance Excellence Award and of the Philippine Quality Challenge (PQC)/Philippine Quality Award (PQA). He also held the Vice President for Conference role in the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) and the Convener of the 2017 International Quality Conference. He appeared in local and international conferences either as a Resource Speaker, Keynote Speaker or as a Judge or Assessor. From Research perspective, he was able to present his dissertation/research paper to both local and international conferences and he was awarded as one of the Best Presenters in one of these conferences. He was also a scholar of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT).
Academically, Dr. Rey started to cultivate consistent high-performance when he was in grade school up to college, graduating on every educational level at the top of his class. While working for international companies, he decided to pursue his graduate studies and eventually graduated in his MBA in 2012 and in doctorate (business) degree in 2016.
