Emerging
Leaders
Summit.
The Emerging Leaders Summit will be a momentous gathering of disruptive individuals.
They will be the ones who were unafraid to challenge the norms, saw something could be improved, and flat out did it!
This event will serve as a shining beacon of possibility for innovation.
We want to curate an environment of learning where the speakers feel openly discuss the challenges they’ve encountered and how they’ve overcome them.
We want the attendees to feel empowered with the capability to change things for the better just as the speakers have in their own respective fields.

JEANO CRUZ
Head of Social and Associate Creative Director
Jeano Cruz is currently Head of Social & Associate Creative Director at GIGIL, Manila's most decorated independent agency. He believes his social career started in 2016 when thousands of random people online just started sharing his Korea puns post despite the album being very, very corny.
Since then, he has applied his learning from going viral into his advertising work, helping brands like 7-Eleven, Cobra Energy Drink, Saint Jo Flowers, Levi's, Orocan, Adobo Connection, and more to go viral on social through agile content.
Jeano's work with GIGIL has since collected awards across the world, but his most prized collection are the thousands of memes on his phone.
NIKKA MELCHOR
Senior Copywriter
Nikka Melchor, one of GIGIL’s pioneer employees, is currently a senior copywriter of the agency.
Within the first year of her career, she proudly helped the agency win a Clio Health Award, Boomerang Award, and Spikes Asia Award in Singapore, and recently, a London International Award for her work in KonsultaMD’s ‘Doc Internet.’
Aside from being a copywriter, she is also a songwriter and vocalist of her band, ‘the vowels they orbit’ — the country’s first signed recording artists under Sony Entertainment Music upon the label’s comeback, with their hit, ‘Selos.’ Her biggest accounts include 7-Eleven Slurpee and 7-Eleven CLiQQ where she also applies her skills in music.
